BRING the fun back into sports training

Bring the whole family in to hang out and watch a sports game on our big screen tv’s. Ditch your standard gym membership and use our workout equipment to help you get in the zone- without the gym crowd. Whether you’re hitting in our batting cages, training on our turf, pitching on the mounds, or playing home run derby on our HitTrax system, there is something here for all sports ages. Our facility maintains 24/7 access for members; which means more time for activities.

The modern technology and software of our equipment allows our facility to be self-service. Each member receives automated access after completing training orientation and waiver release forms through a mobile app. Access is then granted to only the stations purchased through your customized membership of choice. In our facility, guests are also welcome with a paying member. However, a waiver release must be completed by guests upon entry by scanning the QR code on the guest waiver signs located throughout the facility.

The Clubhouse utilizes modern technology to enhance the training of today’s young athletes and help keep the fun in improving their game. Round up your gear so you can practice all year long at The Clubhouse. We supply cage balls only; if you want to use real baseballs feel free to bring your own to enhance your training experience. We look forward to seeing all of you in The Clubhouse!

MEET THE FOUNDER

James Long is the owner/founder of The Clubhouse and an East County native. His idea for the indoor batting cages came from coaching his own children through the start of their baseball and softball careers and being shocked by the lack of public training facilities in the area. James played baseball himself from T-ball in Lakeside, to being on the varsity team at El Capitan High School, and on to playing on his college team at Southwestern College. James has played baseball on travel ball teams and adult leagues as well and has always loved the sport.

During his own experiences, James learned what a key component it is to have the appropriate training equipment in order to advance in your athletic skills. Through now coaching his own children in these sports, he has also learned just how crucial it is to make the practices fun and motivating. James made the decision to open The Clubhouse training facilities with these vital points in mind. His goal was to create a fun and energizing atmosphere for kids and adults alike to want to return again and again to work on their skills. With a lack of indoor training facilities in the area, James hopes to set the standard high for what a clean, fun, and inspiring time can be had while practicing the sport!
